National Reconciliation Week 2023

National Reconciliation Week holds great importance as a time to promote and advance reconciliation between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. It serves as a reminder of the ongoing journey towards healing, understanding, and unity.

From 23 May to 3 June Australia celebrates National Reconciliation Week.

GRC Hurstville Campus supported this important week by engaging our students in a collection of fun, exciting and educational activities. This week provided an opportunity for individuals and communities to reflect on the shared histories, cultures, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. By engaging in meaningful conversations, education, and activities, we can work towards building a more inclusive and equitable society for all. Reconciliation Week encourages us to be proactive in addressing the past injustices, fostering respect, and creating lasting change that benefits future generations. It is a time to amplify voices, bridge divides, and strive for genuine reconciliation.
