Georges River College Community Consultation and Engagement

Understanding your views on high school choices within the Georges River College local intake area

A key goal of the NSW Department of Education’s current Strategic Plan is to ensure every student is engaged and challenged to continue to learn, and every student, every teacher, every leader and every school improves every year.

SEC Newgate have been engaged to carry out an independent, comprehensive community consultation. This consultation asks the question: what are the preferences of families, students, teaching staff and the community for the educational offerings for high school students in years 7-12 across the Georges River College local intake area?

We are consulting through a number of ways to ensure we capture your feedback.

You can provide your input in one of several ways:

  • A short survey is now open to parents and carers of Georges River College students please click here. Please only complete this once, surveys close Friday 23 September.
  • A short survey is open to former students who attended Oatley Senior Campus after 2001 please click here, surveys close Friday 23 September
  • A short survey is open to parents and carers of primary school students (K-6) please click here, surveys close Friday 23 September.
  • A short survey is open to the local community who do not have children currently enrolled at Georges River College please click here, surveys close Friday 23 September.
  • A short survey is open to the broader community who do not live in the Georges River College local intake area please click here, surveys close Friday 23 September.

Georges River College students will be completing their own survey during class.

Finally, for parents and carers of primary and high school students, workshops will be held, and more information will be provided shortly.

The NSW Department of Education greatly appreciates your time and support in this initiative, which is of considerable importance in shaping the direction of our educational offerings for students in years 7-12 across the Georges River College intake area.
